Molasses Puff

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup ( prefer Karo syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • Cooking Instructions

    In a 3 quart pan combine all ingredients except soda. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stir occasionally - cook to 300 F. Be sure baking soda is lump free. Remove from heat, sprinkle with baking soda and mix gently. Pour into a well buttered ( 8 x 8) pan. Cool before breakinginto random pieces. Partially dip in dark chocolate. Hint: For ease in removing from pan line pan with foil and butter the foil.
